ConvoFly vs Interakt

Interakt's headline price is among the lowest advertised anywhere. The detail that decides the comparison is what the monthly plan actually includes.

Interakt's advertised entry price is very low, but it is quoted on annual billing and its monthly Starter plan has been reported to exclude WhatsApp entirely — you need quarterly or annual billing to get it. ConvoFly's $12/month is a genuine month-to-month price with WhatsApp included. Interakt is deeply embedded in the Indian D2C ecosystem and has far more public proof than we do.

Pricing, side by side

Interakt publishes tiers from roughly ₹999 to ₹3,499 per month with monthly, quarterly (about 8% off) and annual (about 20% off) billing. Reports indicate the monthly Starter plan covers Instagram rather than WhatsApp, with WhatsApp requiring quarterly or annual billing. ConvoFly's plans are $12/month for Starter up to $250/month for Diamond, with a 14-day free trial on every plan.

Both platforms exclude Meta's own WhatsApp conversation charges, which Meta bills based on country and message category and which no subscription includes. Those are left out of the table below so the comparison is like for like.

Read the billing cycle before the price

Interakt's advertised entry price is among the lowest anywhere, and that is exactly why it deserves a careful read. The headline figures are quoted on annual billing, and reporting indicates the monthly Starter plan covers Instagram rather than WhatsApp — meaning the cheapest genuine route to WhatsApp runs through a quarterly or annual commitment.

That may be perfectly acceptable. An annual commitment on a tool you have already decided to use is often the right call, and the discount is real. But it is a different proposition from month-to-month, and it is worth comparing like with like: ConvoFly's $12 is payable monthly, cancellable monthly, with WhatsApp included at that price.

Before you sign either, work out the twelve-month total rather than the monthly figure, and check which channel the plan actually includes.

The middleman question

Meta bills per WhatsApp conversation, priced by the recipient's country and the message category. Some platforms pass that straight through; others resell it with a margin, reported at roughly 12–15% in Interakt's case.

At low volume this is invisible. At real volume it can exceed the entire platform subscription — a store sending tens of thousands of conversations a month may pay more in markup than in software. It is also the single hardest number to find on any vendor's site, which is reason enough to ask directly.

ConvoFly does not sit in that flow: Meta bills you for conversations at Meta's published rate.

Where Interakt is the stronger choice

If you are an Indian D2C brand, the ecosystem argument is genuinely strong and not one we can match. Rupee pricing and local payment methods remove friction that USD billing adds. Integration with the commerce tooling many Indian stores already run is deeper. And the installed base means public reviews, case studies and merchants you can actually ask.

Those are real advantages that no feature comparison captures, and if they describe your situation they should probably outweigh the two points above.

Where ConvoFly is the better choice

Month-to-month actually means month-to-month
Our $12 is payable monthly with WhatsApp included. You are not being quoted an annual-equivalent price for a plan that needs a year's commitment to include the channel you came for.
No margin on Meta's charges
Meta bills you directly for conversations. We do not sit in the middle of that and take a cut, so your messaging cost is Meta's published rate.
Messenger as a full channel
Facebook Page messages land in the same queue as WhatsApp and Instagram with the same automation, not as an afterthought.
AI earlier in the ladder
Knowledge-base bot, Copilot and in-flow AI blocks from $50/month.

Where Interakt is the better choice

Indian D2C ecosystem fit
Interakt is built by a well-known Indian commerce company and is tightly integrated into that ecosystem. If you sell in India and use those tools, that integration depth is worth real money.
Local pricing and payment
Rupee pricing and local payment methods remove friction that a USD-priced platform adds.
Proof at scale
A large, visible base of Indian D2C brands, public reviews and case studies. We have none of that yet.

The verdict

If you want a true low monthly commitment with WhatsApp included and no markup on Meta's charges, ConvoFly is the cleaner deal. If you are an Indian D2C brand already inside that ecosystem and want rupee billing and local proof, Interakt is the more natural fit.

What you would actually be using

The comparison above is about price and fit. If you want the detail on any one capability, these go deeper than a table row can:

  • WhatsApp automation — triggers, branching, AI blocks and the flows worth building first.
  • Shared team inbox — seats, assignment, round-robin and how the 24-hour window behaves for a team.
  • WhatsApp CRM — contacts, tags, attributes and what it deliberately does not do.
  • Shopify integration — the six store events and the cash-on-delivery flow.
  • Full pricing — every tier, both billing cycles.
