Zoko is a WhatsApp platform built around Shopify, with free agents and paid add-ons. Which one is cheaper depends on your team size and your monthly volume, not on the headline price.
Zoko's Starter plan is $49.99/month with unlimited free agents, but adds a $0.015 Zoko fee to every conversation; Instagram, custom flows and AI agents are paid add-ons. ConvoFly starts at $12/month for one seat, charges nothing per conversation, and includes Instagram, Messenger and AI from $50/month. Zoko is the better fit for a large team at low volume, and it has in-inbox WhatsApp calling and a much larger public review base.
Zoko publishes four plans: Starter at $49.99/month (unlimited agents, $0.015 Zoko fee per conversation), Plus at $79.99/month (5 agents, 5,000 conversations without the Zoko fee), Elite at $139.99/month (10 agents, 100,000 conversations) and Max at $499.99/month (30 agents). Instagram is $9.99/month, custom flows $5.99/month each and AI agents from $24.99/month each. It offers a 7-day free trial and monthly or annual billing. ConvoFly's plans are $12/month for Starter up to $250/month for Diamond, with a 14-day free trial on every plan.
Both platforms exclude Meta's own WhatsApp conversation charges, which Meta bills based on country and message category and which no subscription includes. Those are left out of the table below so the comparison is like for like.

Zoko's Starter plan costs $49.99/month and lets you add as many agents as you like for free. What it charges for instead is volume: on Starter, Zoko adds its own fee of $0.015 to every conversation, on top of Meta's rates. Plus ($79.99/month) removes that fee for the first 5,000 conversations and includes five agents, with more at $15 each.
ConvoFly charges the other way round: per seat, never per conversation. Starter is $12/month for 1 seat, Growth is $50/month for 4, and each extra seat is $20/month. Meta bills your conversations directly and we add nothing to them.
So the deciding number is your team size against your monthly volume. A solo seller pays $12 on ConvoFly against at least $49.99 on Zoko. A six-person team pays $90 on ConvoFly Growth; on Zoko Starter the same team pays $49.99 plus $0.015 a conversation, which is cheaper than ConvoFly until roughly 2,667 conversations a month and dearer after it.
Zoko's plan price is the start of the bill for most stores. Instagram is $9.99/month on every plan. Eleven pre-built e-commerce flows are free (cart recovery, COD double-confirmation, COD-to-prepaid, review requests, order notifications), but Zoko's pricing page says an edited pre-built flow becomes a paid one, and every custom flow is $5.99/month. AI agents are $24.99/month each, plus $0.09 per resolution after the first 100, or 3% of order value for its sales agent.
On ConvoFly, flows, AI blocks and all three Meta channels are part of the plan rather than add-ons, with limits instead: Starter connects 1 channel, publishes 3 automation rules and has no AI blocks; Growth connects WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger together, publishes 5 rules and unlocks AI. See full pricing for every allowance.
Both products take cash-on-delivery seriously, which is not true of every WhatsApp platform. Zoko ships COD confirmation as a free pre-built flow and sells COD re-confirmation with auto-cancel as a premium one. ConvoFly's Shopify integration builds the COD confirmation flow on the order event, and for stores in Pakistan it also connects Leopards, PostEx and M&P: parcel statuses sync daily and a status change can start a flow, such as messaging a customer whose parcel is out for delivery. If your courier matters to the decision, ask Zoko which ones it connects to before you choose.
A solo seller or a small team that wants a flat bill with Instagram, Messenger and AI included will pay less on ConvoFly, and Pakistani stores also get courier status flows. A larger team at modest volume, or a store that wants WhatsApp calls and a big library of pre-built Shopify playbooks, is better served by Zoko.
